I wanted to show what happens when the removal of everything becomes overwhelming presence, how even the faintest glimmer becomes unbearable in the heart of cosmic void. Here I ask: can nothingness itself exert a force—one that presses against perception, drawing the viewer toward the edge where seeing and not-seeing blur? The distant quasar’s spectral echo and the scattered pinholes of light serve as the absolute minimum needed to define the infinite, each struggling against the velvet suppression of all things. This image investigates the architecture of absence, layering impossible surfaces—singing quartz, tensionless mirrors, and shadow-glass—so that the void is not empty, but a field of disturbingly silent equilibrium.
