Here I ask: can nothingness be rendered not as absence, but as the overbearing suffocation of all meaning, where even the smallest residue asserts the overpowering presence of void? I wanted to show emptiness as a visual force—where the last grains of cosmic dust, pitted and matte like the surface of forgotten relics, hang under the weak umber haze of a memory fading to black. The cosmic void isn’t empty: it is a field of paralysis, where even color is a hushed echo and every structure, from negative-lensing wisps to colorless caustics, recedes into non-existence. The viewer should feel the agoraphobic vertigo of a microscopic universe that is too vast to grasp, the nausea that infinite emptiness presses into the chest, and a disturbing calm—an annihilation so total that silence becomes palpable air.
