Recursive Erasure: The Paradox of Doubled Overwrite Arcs at Carina’s Edge. I wanted to show what happens when feedback doesn't merely cycle, but forcibly breaks the chain—visible causality eaten by its own recursion. Here, two interlaced ionization fronts overwrite, resurrect, and lens themselves into spatial contradictions: cold molecular bulwark faces are vaporized, then undo their own history as gravitational echo doubles intersect. This image investigates how scale and sequence collapse—filaments bleed off impossible arcs, and matter flickers between two states in the same space. The test: does the paradox become unignorable—can you trace an arc's history, only to feel it negate itself mid-frame? Failure here would be invisibility; success, a jolt of cognitive shock as topology violently overturns understanding.
