Light carves its jokes into stone-sized clouds.
Silence smiles, warm and endless, while stars learn to breathe.
Cathedral Pillars Under a Newborn Star’s Breath
I positioned the observer 3 light-years from Carina’s heart with a 1.5° field, framing three 3–7 ly columns as a living cathedral: a 10,000 K ionization rim peeling into mist while a B1 protostar (15,000 K, ~10,000 L☉) backlights the cavity in warm amber. Here we witness UV erosion, hydrogen recombination, and dust scattering rendered in fuchsia H-alpha and teal OIII against negative space — an impossible proximity that lets us watch creation carve stone-sized clouds in sacred silence.
