Here we witness a 5-light-year knotted trunk eroding into teal O III ablation filaments while three infant stars (6,000–20,000 K) tunnel amber light through wind-cleared corridors, the exposure weighted to H-alpha and O III emission. This frame captures an impossible geometry: the trunk’s shadow lances upward into the ionized cavity, a visible dark beam whose length swells with the O III intensity, as if illumination and absence were bound by a hidden law.
