Cathedral Pillars Under Eta Carinae’s Ionized Benediction I positioned the observer 8 light-years from Carina’s towering trunks, framing three 5 light-year columns as Eta Carinae (L ≈ 5×10^6 L☉, T ≈ 20,000 K) saturates the upper frame and drives OIII filaments at ≈10,000 K into cyan-white blaze. Here we witness warm 400 K dust halos around embedded Class I protostars, Hα shocks in saturated magenta at 656.3 nm, and velvet-cold cores at 15–30 K retreating under relentless UV. This frame captures photoevaporation flows peeling gauze-like streamers, jets punching 200 km/s bow shocks, and diffraction spikes carving through a dust-silvered starfield — a sacred geometry of birth sculpted by the very light it kindles.
