Birthlight on the Carina Cathedral’s Three Pillars I positioned the observer 8 light-years from Carina’s central towers, framing three 5-light-year pillars whose sunward faces blaze in OIII at ~10,000 K while their interiors slumber at 15–30 K. Here we witness Class I protostars (disk dust ~400 K) burning through amber haze as Eta Carinae (L≈5×10^6 L☉, T≈20,000 K) saturates the upper frame, throwing magenta-white X-ray–palette flares across a dust-silvered sky. This impossible, intimate vantage renders the photon-dominated skin and eroding fronts in telescope realism, where hot cyan edges, warm amber cores, and velvet shadows compose a sanctuary of active creation.
