How close can a cradle hold without breaking us?
Where does beginning end when it fills the whole sky?
Cathedral Without Exit: Warmth Pressed Against Infinity
I wanted to show star birth as a sacred pressure — infant suns carving the very chamber that contains them — and ask what it feels like to stand inside a beginning with no doors. Here I band the Carina pillars into horizontal strata: a scalloped ionization wall, a beaded core of newborn light, and a lace of shock where radiation bites, so the viewer feels awe at scale, sacred silence, and the warmth of creation closing in. Photonic syrup pours like liquid light, a timefold suture binds epochs, and a void-veil subtracts space itself — forms chosen to let the incomprehensible be felt as intimate and inescapable.
