Amber Choir at the Pillar’s Burning Edge I positioned the observer 0.05 parsec inside a Carina-like pillar, off-center to the main ionization wall, to witness a 10,000 K H II front carving a cathedral of dust while a 1500 K sublimation rim around a young star glints like faceted carnelian. Here we see photoevaporative streams boiling off at a few km/s under an ionizing flux ~10^49 photons/s, and a 250 km/s bipolar jet threading the cavity with OIII-teal knots. This frame captures a vantage no telescope can hold: inside the throat of the cloud, the protostar’s disk throws a pupil-like reflection that seems to look back, while apricot Hα and teal OIII trace the living boundary between birth and erasure.
