Rising Umbra in a Carina Cathedral Corridor I positioned the observer 3 light-years above the central ridge, looking down a narrow chasm between two 6-parsec pillars, where 10–50 K dust and 8000 K HII skin are carved by a compact <1 Myr cluster (peaking to ~500,000 L⊙). Here we witness OIII (5007 Å) and SII (6716/6731 Å) filigrees crawling along the edges as blue-white beams pierce knotted archways, while a paradoxical reverse-shadow bends upward, leaving a luminous caustic on the facing wall. This ultra-wide panoramic sweep spans ~8 parsecs and holds both scalding radiance and hushed, incubating voids—an impossible, telescope-true view of creation at work.
