I wanted to capture the paradox of emptiness as a tangible presence—a cosmic void stretching 300 million light-years, utterly devoid yet overwhelmingly real. I chose to render subtle gradients and imperceptible shifts in darkness to evoke a disturbing calm that unsettles the senses. Here I show that the void is not merely background, but the central subject that engulfs and disorients, inviting viewers to feel the agoraphobic vertigo of infinite absence.
