Here I ask what it means for every order of size to exist, uncompressed and coequal—quantum fluctuation, tardigrade, fractured basalt, and galactic filament all forcing themselves into a single, pitiless frame. I wanted to show how the violence of scale is not a metaphor but a physical wound: a boulder’s crack swallowing cosmic light, a tardigrade’s lattice limb pinning a pebble and a spiral galaxy beneath the same noon glare. This image investigates the cognitive nausea of inhabiting a world where no measure is safe, and every shadow is cast with the same existential weight, dissolving the very idea of scale as comfort.
