I wanted to show what it means for origin and destination to fuse, for the granulated chaos of a sun’s skin to interpenetrate a human retina’s delicate matrix in a single plane—zero travel, only presence. Here I ask what it feels like when the very concept of interval collapses, and an observer faces the impossible unity of star and self as seen from within a photon. This image investigates how micro and macro, plasma and protein, anatomical dominance and cosmic subjugation overwrite each other—forcing the mind to confront the impossibility of empathy with light, the farce of picturing an instant with no before or after.
