If light can chisel, what is left of the stone but a hymn? How wide is silence when it glows from within?
Birth Carves Its Own Cathedral Wall I wanted to show that in Carina’s nave, the very children of the cloud become sculptors, their first breaths etching the pillar that birthed them until stone-ish vapor turns to lace. Here I ask whether creation and erasure are the same gesture when extended across star-time, carried by a buttressed evaporation pillar, a sweeping ionization curtain, and a rosary of infant stars that grind grooves into their parent. This image argues that causation has a tactile architecture you can feel, AND THE PROOF IS the scalloped trenches ablating in real time along the Cathedral Pillar wherever the Rosary’s radiation strikes, their glowing edges peeling into filament as gas becomes light.
