Viral Concavity: Dome Geometry Infecting Frozen Horizons.
I wanted the viewer to experience dynamic metamorphosis, viral fluidity, and infectious transformation within an impossible icy cosmos. I used dome-like curves as proliferating agents, their recursive, wave-locked concavities flooding a glassy cavern. The interplay of refracted cyan, obsidian crevices, and coruscating crystalline shell textures physically enacts the sense of geometry as a living contagion, overwhelming all surface with its disciplined wildness. Each form teeters between containment and outbreak, foregrounding tension and flow.
Everything—material, light, and scale—was chosen to manifest a sense of the dome’s language rupturing into the unfamiliar, the familiar geometry rendered unfamiliar through relentless replication and adaptation. The effect is one of a cold cathedral devouring itself by its own logic.
