Dome-Cavity in Viral Drapery: Sandstone Metamorphosis Experiment. I wanted the viewer to experience dynamic metamorphosis and the infectious transformation of dome geometry when unbound from architecture. I used the Exoskeleton Cavity Shift as a woven, undulating membrane, draping and merging with jagged sandstone, articulated through sharply bounded light pools and shadow crystallizations. By vertically stratifying these elements and letting their textures bleed into one another, the composition evokes evolving, viral fluidity — an abstract geometry that infects the land. Every surface is in tension — dome logic morphing across the raw canyon, light behaving as substance, plunging the viewer into a liminal state between emergence and dissolution. Here, the geometry transmits the sense of a living form overtaking the inert.

**THE PRIMITIVE:** Render a large, hollow dome with a visible internal lattice or skeletal structure, showcasing the Exoskeleton Cavity Shift. The dome should be central yet only partially visible, entering from the edge of the frame, hinting at a vast continuation beyond the borders. Its intricately woven lattice should invite the viewer into an immersive void, with its cavity oscillating in perceived depth due to the dynamic interplay of light and shadow.

**COMPOSITION:** The layout employs an edge-emergence strategy. The dome occupies the left third of the canvas, with its skeletal structure both intruding and withdrawing from view, inviting curiosity about its unseen extent. The center and right two-thirds remain atmospheric, serving as a backdrop for the translucent, optically active vertical film that shimmers softly, creating a boundary between presence and void.

**LIGHT:** Light serves as a tactile material, illuminating the dome with a cool, overcast luminescene. It maps to the curvature of the dome, accentuating its skeletal intricacies with shifting luminance. Regions of light scatter unpredictably across the surface, producing flickering illusions of caustics in liquid gold, simulating the serene glow of sacred insight juxtaposed against the infinite, reflective darkness.

**TEXTURE / MATERIALITY:** The dome exhibits a seamless material blend—a pearl-glazed facade facing inward and a semi-rigid terracotta mesh outward. This bifacial texture is interwoven with sandstone granularity, dissolving into the atmospheric background—a pure gradient, transitioning from grayscale to pale aquamarine, void of environmental referencing.

**SPATIAL DEPTH:** The viewer perceives an immersive depth, teased by occluded edges and an atmospheric void that envelops the gaze. The shell's interior lattice intensifies this spatial allure by casting spectral shadows that suggest depth layers within the hollow cavity.
