Suspended Aperture: The Paradox of Flowing Crystal Boundaries.
I wanted the viewer to experience a polarity echo—where the reversal and resonance of openness and enclosure ripple unpredictably across deep space. I used the folded hyperbolic contour, fractured into lacework and suspended in a submerged, infinite field, to refocus attention on simultaneous containment and dispersal. The filigree ice, echoing both boundary and void, disrupts spatial certainty and projects shifting light and shadow through itself and the kelp, suspending the viewer in vertigo and temporal fluidity. Every element was chosen to amplify this unpredictable geometry—etched in paradox, alive with visual resonance.
