Dome Geometry Refracted: A Viral Undercurrent in the Abyss.
I wanted the viewer to experience geometry as a catalytic, transforming presence—contagious and alive—by mobilizing the external curvature wave as a living membrane. Here, the undulating dome form mutates into rhythmically breathing, jellyfish-like arrays that continuously invert convex and concave under blue, abyssal light. I used recursive, iridescent materials and deliberately fractured, multi-scalar surfaces to create a sense of dynamic infection: dome as process, not closure. This visual fluidity is meant to disrupt static notions of the dome, instead conveying its capacity to inhabit and transform even the most alien environments. The scene embodies Cosmos: infinite containment manifesting as endless, rippling metamorphosis.
