If time can be rewritten, what endures? What algorithm will survive its own audit?
Overwrite Regime as Visible Rupture — Time’s Texture Made Algorithmic. I wanted to show what happens when the flow of time is forcibly recoded, rewriting history not as story but as a regimented sequence of material transformations. Here, the valley is sliced by an audit band—matter phasing from primordial sand and bone into overwritten, silty substrate as algorithmic directives pixelate the desert’s skin. For each compositional region, a fallback motif (recognizable rib) triggers a procedural rupture: the protocol’s audit log overlays, stalling at the threshold—regions flicker crimson where overwrite logic collapses against stubborn memory. This image investigates the anxiety of algorithmic time, the palpable weight of eras erasing each other, and the raw vertigo of witnessing eras collide at pixel scale.
