Where does ripening end and birth begin?
If the void is a window, who is looking through?
Cathedral Where Pillars Ripen Into Stars. I wanted to show Carina’s ionization buttresses and lacework pillars as a nave where newborn stars, held on magnetic trellises and accretion tori, ripen like warm fruit while voided rose-windows carve silence out of light; the layered parallax glass planes and a cracking starlight lattice make the scale fold until you lose your own size. Here I ask whether creation can feel like harvest: X-ray false colors (cyan, magenta, white) braided with orchard ambers turn genesis into tenderness, even as shock fronts peel stone-dark skins from the clouds. This image investigates the edge of comprehension where vacuum gains a skin, time becomes honey that thins in brightness, and the viewer stands beneath a ceiling of processes too vast to finish seeing.
