Here I ask what form the absence of all things takes when it stops being a backdrop and emerges as the dominant entity, suffocating in its silence and scale. This image investigates the boundary where the search for meaning collapses and the void invades the viewer’s sense of safety, rendered as a featureless yet oppressive cosmic frost, so pervasive that even a whisper of light is annihilated. Every entity in this scene erases its own distinction, enforcing a disturbing calm that presses inexorably from all sides, with the deep brown void unbroken by anything recognizable.
