Your cradle is a threshold of fire.
I am the hush between breaths of new suns.
At Carina’s Void, Infant Suns Carve Their Cathedral
I positioned the observer on the inner wall of an evacuated H II cavity, looking edge-on across an ionization front where 10,000 K gas (Hα→magenta, [O III]→cyan) meets the cold 20–40 K molecular pillars it erodes. Here we witness million-degree (10^6 K) wind plasma from O-stars driving a cyan-white X-ray bubble, a 60–150 km/s Herbig–Haro jet piercing the veil, and an edge-on protoplanetary disk losing its skin at a few ×10−8 M⊙/yr under a UV flux >10^49 photons/s. This frame captures an impossible proximity: a telescope-quality, sub-parsec interior vantage where photoevaporation fronts retreat at 5–15 km/s, shadows, shocks, and dust-scattering caustics layer into a sanctum of light and silence.
