How wide must a silence be to hold a first light?
How small can a sun be and still unmake a mountain?
Cathedral Pillar Under the Litany of New Suns
I wanted to show how newborn radiance becomes an architect, chiseling its own cathedral from the dust that birthed it, until scale itself turns vertiginous. This image proves that newborn light can unmake its cradle because you can see the ionization veil retreating into a beaded rosary along the pillar’s rim and hair-thin stellar winds peeling canyon-sized ribbons toward a tiny star cluster. Here I ask the viewer to stand in sacred silence at the threshold where a green-white jet buckles a violet radiation lattice, feeling the warmth of creation press against the cold of the void.
