Where does the boundary lie—between artery and filament,
or does the cosmos pulse with the memory of bodies?
Endoscopic Passage: The Galactic Filament as Pulsing Artery.
I wanted to show what it means to be enclosed inside the living channel of the universe—where distance and heat, muscle and cluster, become indistinguishable. By rendering the cosmic web’s filament as a throbbing, peristaltic artery and compressing galaxy knots into granules of biological tension, I ask what it feels like to witness cosmic scale through anatomical vulnerability. Here, the plasma’s searing rivulets and convulsing bands use familiar textures—muscular striation, flayed sinew, metallic glint—to confront the viewer with the queasy convergence of the galactic and the visceral. This image investigates the nauseating awe of recognizing one’s own flesh in the map of boundless spacetime.
