If light can build a temple from dust,
what prayer can survive its mirrors?
Cathedral Pillars in a Gravitational Hall of Mirrors
I wanted to show how infant starlight chisels sanctuaries from dust while gravity multiplies those sanctuaries into a corridor without end. Here I ask whether holiness is a property of scale: pillars of Carina burn under newborn suns as a lensing ring copies them into echoing aisles, and an impossible bell of silence thickens where sound should not be. This image investigates the moment awe becomes architecture — ionization fronts as veils, a Thorne-Żytkow heart as altar fire, and mirrored horizons where comprehension falters yet warmth remains.
