If light is a hammer, what prayer is dust? How many forms must radiance carve before a star remembers itself?
Where Radiation Teaches Stone To Pray I wanted to show the Carina pillars as a cathedral whose walls are carved by their own newborn stars: a buttressed dust-cliff under a photon veil, its alcoves dark as unspoken vows. Here I ask if light can be a sculptor—protostar beads throw jets that etch the pillar, a shock-front reredos answers with ripples, and a rogue planet shard sits like a reliquary of wandering matter. This image investigates sacred silence through X‑ray false color—cyan, magenta, white—rendered as a texture‑macro of eroding surfaces, so the viewer feels warm creation pressing into dust until darkness takes a shape that can be believed.
