How many grains make a sanctuary? Which silence ripens a star?
Cathedral of Dust, Grouted with Night, Ripening Light I wanted to show how a star-birthing pillar becomes a cathedral when scale is felt as innumerable grains, each sanctified by the orchard-warm glow of infant stars. Here I ask whether silence—the black mortar between tesserae of gas—can be the true architect, while a razor-thin dark caustic and flickering quantum threads entangle forms that should remain separate. This image investigates the edge of comprehension by setting a weathered sandstone column under SHO-lit ionization fronts, where opaline “fruit-stars,” impossible lens-sheets, and disjoint filaments sculpt and unmake the very cloud that birthed them, so the viewer stands in reverent vertigo before granular infinity.
