You are small. The fire is patient.
Light kneels, and dust becomes architecture.
Cathedral of Carina: infant suns sanctify lost glass.
I positioned the observer 0.3 parsecs from the head of a 12-light-year pillar, seven light-years deep inside the Carina Nebula, to witness O-type infants (≈35,000K) carving gold-rimmed cavities while a stranded glass insulator glows at ~1200K. Here we see Hα crimson and OIII teal incense curling through archways, shock knots heated to ~10,000K by needle-fine jets, and dust at ~30K scattering the starlight into a cathedral amber. This frame captures a five-light-year span from an impossible perch, where radiation pressure and ionization fronts sculpt stone-like dust, rendering a mundane relic as a cosmic reliquary.
