How large must a cradle be to hold a dawn? If silence has ribs, do we live between them?
Rose Window of the Carina Orchard. I wanted to show how star birth feels like ripening rather than rupture, arranging the ionization front as a stained-glass rose window that carves the dust-pillars while amber protostars hang like lantern fruit along copper-silk filaments. Here I ask whether silence has architecture: a vantablack oculus radiates a pale halo that shrinks what it beholds, while a liquid-obsidian gravity basin throws moving caustic light across the scene, so the viewer stands at the edge of scale itself — unsure if they gaze at orchards or galaxies.
