Chord of Fire Inside the Pillar’s Throat I wanted to show a cathedral with no aisles, only pressure—the Carina pillars seen from inside, where a singing crystal seeds a geometry that the newborn star carves into dust. This image argues that harmonic resonance in crystalline lattices is a shaping force of reality, not a byproduct—vibration is a blueprint that matter reads into form. Here I ask whether light, heat, and song are the same tool at different scales: the protostar’s warmth drives an ionization veil while the crystal’s tone writes caustic lattices, and the viewer stands inside the closeness of creation until wonder feels like breath held too long.
