I wanted to show a void so complete that the camera itself feels submerged in negation—the hush of being inside a cloud of interstellar hydrogen ice, where scale and orientation dissolve. Here I ask: how do you photograph nothing, when the emptiness erases even the context for emptiness? In this landscape, every cosmic form is a step in subtracting the universe—each entity designed to magnify the sense that the void is not a backdrop but the only subject, an all-encompassing abyss that presses on the observer’s mind until only silent engulfment remains.
