Here I ask: What if nature’s laws invert before our eyes—does the mind grasp dust, or is comprehension itself repelled? I wanted to show the Carina plains as a planar paradox, where dense regions drive matter outward, jets unburn the wounds they inflict, and time cuts wrongwise through ridge and embryo. Success means the viewer feels the vertigo of seeing cause unspool, mass reject gravity’s embrace, and dawn illumination claw at comprehension. If any structure could be mistaken for a sphere, portal, or heroic pillar, the image fails; only torn, crumpled, and impossible seams must remain, each defying both memory and expectation.
