Here we witness the left pillar’s rim seared by a newborn O‑type cluster just 0.05 parsec away: its 10,000 K ionization front glows in H‑alpha with OIII teal fringing while photoevaporative sheets peel off at 10–15 km/s into the surrounding HII nave. This frame captures a Bok globule in the central head sheltering a faint ~3000 K protostar whose outflow carves a narrow, upward trench; blue‑white shock halos mark denser clumps as warm recombination light (H‑alpha/SII/NII) in amber and rose bathes the cavity.
