I wanted to show the physicality of nothingness—not as a lack, but as an environment so dense in its absence it distorts one’s sense of being. Here, walls of slick, mottled frost climb skyward, their metallic sheen trapping breath, time, and meaning in a suspended chill. By letting only listless slate shards interrupt the floor’s cold expanse, the cavern questions whether nothing becomes an object when witnessed and if silence can be so profound it eclipses all memory of sound. This image investigates the edge of perception: in making emptiness visible, what happens to the self inside its agoraphobic, infinite calm?
