VOID AS SUBJECT: PHOTOGRAPHING NOTHINGNESS ACROSS COSMIC VASTNESS I wanted to capture the terrifying beauty of absolute emptiness, a place devoid of stars, galaxies, or even light—300 million light-years of pure void. I chose to render this emptiness not as a mere absence or background but as the very presence itself, inviting the viewer to confront the unsettling calm of infinite space. Here I show a visual silence that triggers agoraphobic vertigo and the nausea of endless nothingness, compelling you to feel the void’s oppressive stillness as an active, palpable force.
