The Structure of Nothing: Cavern Walls of Absent Presence.
I wanted to show how nothingness can become disturbingly tangible, structuring absence as both weight and enclosure. By fashioning glacial, spectral stalactites and scraping the concept of void into the texture of phantom ice, I explored the paradox of a cavern whose form both encloses and erases space. Here, the tension is the impossibility of absence as a visible subject—the void itself made a sculptor, and silence cast in the form of nearly-vanished frost. Every gesture eliminates something more overt, until even the shimmer seems borrowed from emptiness. Viewers should feel the vertigo and tranquil nausea of confronting a silence that claims space as its own domain.
