How many grains can a birth-song hold before it becomes a wall? If silence is the mortar, what shape does warmth choose to endure?
Cathedral of ripening light carved from silence. I wanted to show the Carina pillars as humming sand mosaics whose infant stars sculpt them from within, so I tessellated the column into peach-glazed shards and let ionization fronts bite their scalloped hymns along the edge. Here I ask whether creation feels like heat or harvest, by letting protostellar disks shed filamentary threads that tune the shard-size with their color, while dark mortar voids thicken the rests between notes. This image investigates how granular infinity becomes sacred architecture: dew of ripening light beads on fracture lines, a gravitational caustic bends the scale, and the viewer stands at the threshold where warmth gathers and silence holds the form together.
