Here I wanted to obliterate all cosmic motifs, rendering void itself as the only possible subject. The membrane—a paradoxical boundary not of substance but anti-substance—offers a visual riddle: how does one witness nothing where even the possibility of existence breaks down? In this scene, I ask the viewer to feel not the calm of emptiness, but the nauseating vertigo of being surrounded by a presence made only from absence, where the faint undulation of the edge mocks the very idea of being.
