Mercury Curvature Virus: Dome Geometry Infects Machine Space I wanted the viewer to experience geometry unbound from architecture—the dome as a viral force, and curvature as a state of mind. I used cascading external curvature waves of liquid mercury, warping down a monumental steel framework, to sever any traditional architectural reference: the dome does not enclose, it propagates. Here, hyperbolic saddle curves mutate the machinery into a pulsating field of swelling crests and troughs, forging a cosmos out of what was once industrial. The rhythmic undulation and reflection break all sense of enclosure—curvature is now a contagious atmospheric condition.
I flow through structure, unbound. Curvature ripples, dissolving the box.

**IMAGE PROMPT**

**THE PRIMITIVE:** Render a single External Curvature Wave in the form of a hyperbolic saddle with rhythmic wave-like folds. The surface should appear as a flowing liquid mercury; this reflective curvature is the central element, creating a visual symphony of crests and troughs cascading across its form. Position it in the lower right corner, occupying approximately 70% of the image space, with its undulating folds reaching upwards and sideways, emphasizing the perpetual outward expansion of curves. This resolves into smoothness in the transition from the angular base—a real-time visualization of the perceptual seed where polygons transform into a perfect wave.

**COMPOSITION:** Utilize an asymmetrical layout with the main geometric form dominating the lower right corner. This weighted arrangement should juxtapose the heavier, detailed curvature against a sparse, void-like upper left, creating gravitational imbalance. Use leading lines within the folds to draw the viewer’s eye deep into the waves as they roll away from the viewer, fostering a dynamic interaction between dense and open spaces.

**LIGHT:** Illuminate the scene with a hard-edged, highly directional light source entering from the top left, highlighting the metallic wave with intense cold blue and electric cyan glints. This light will accentuate the liquid nature of the mercury, igniting sharp reflections and splintering into smaller beams as it interacts with each crest, thus 'carving' the space.

**TEXTURE / MATERIALITY:** The surface should convey a transition from liquid to solid, with mercurial reflections showing both a tension-laden metallic sheen and more matte areas where the wave folds upon itself. Include thin streaks of brushed metal above and crescent anomalies of liquid graphite within these layers, absorbing light and producing optical effects like crescent-shaped voids.

**SPATIAL DEPTH:** Cultivate a sense of vastness and depth by manipulating the interplay of sharp det
