I wanted the viewer to experience dynamic transformation, viral spread, and kinetic energy beyond the dome’s typical envelope. I used the Concave Internal Web as an inverse relief, deploying a monumental wire mesh that infects open land, making the dome geometry multiply and adapt. Here the internalized concavity colonizes the visible world: each arc and interwoven segment becomes both boundary and contagion. What if containment itself could never remain contained?
