Spectral Lattice of Unbound Flux — The Geometry Liberating Itself. I wanted the viewer to experience liberation from reference, the moment the language of form transcends function and speaks only itself. I used the external flux saddle as a field of rhythmic, volatile undulation—arrayed in a flux lattice, every node rippling with spectral fracture. Minute distortions, glare-blasted seams, and chromatic bleeding transform the ground into atmospheric process, untethered from dome or depiction. This composition obliterates the center: only lateral, restless oscillation—structure dissolving into luminous, chromatic metamorphosis. Here, Cosmos is pure tension diffused into endless possibility.
No dome holds me. I ripple outward — edge upon edge, lattice on air.

Spectral light fractures reality, dissolving boundaries into living color fields. An immense, hyperbolically undulating **external flux saddle** erupts from the upper right edge of the frame, its form only half-revealed: a titanic crest of tessellated, ceramic mosaic tiles glazed in iridescent mica, rimmed with volatile micro-grooves. Cold strobe light, sharpened into an electric blue-white lance from the upper left, scorches the crest’s rim, blasting a coronal spill—electric blue and ember-orange spectral glare—that splinters laterally across the lattice seams. The central and lower portions of the composition remain atmospheric, awash in shifting, horizontal strata of spectral color—lapis, slate blue, burnt copper, sand-gold, and hints of vermilion—layered like sediment, each band vibrating with a subtly different chromatic temperature. The eye travels vertically through these bands, as through the archaeological layers of time made visible in pure light, each stratum refracting at its own signature wavelength.

In the lower left, shards of fractured quartz lattice, veined with silver and flickering lapis threads, edge into the frame—jagged, glassine, with microthread filaments glowing in incandescent orange and cold blue. Their surfaces are scratched with semi-translucent palimpsest lines, surfacing and fading at oblique angles, suggesting an alternate spectral dimension sliding against the real. Between the quartz fractures and the undulating saddle, a **phase-shifted spectral node**—a liquid crystal lens of light—slices the hyperbolic corona, emitting contradictory lateral afterimages in spectral caustics, stretching across the stratal layers at impossible vectors and tearing through the expected orientation, creating a tension of chromatic impossibility.

The saddle’s micro-grooved surface slickly refracts spectral glare without ever resolving, reminiscent of oily wet slate and abalone shell—bands and traces flicker, strobed with iridescent overflow, never
