Folded Dawn—Cosmos Collapsed to a Dew-Laden Threshold.
I wanted the viewer to experience the vertigo of contradictory spaces embedded within a microcosm—a leaf folding the infinite into tactile intimacy. I used the External Hyperbolic Fold as a depth weave, letting its layered pleats act as both cosmic expansion and cocooning enclosure. The folds, rendered in earthen mineral and dew-capturing velvet, become an ambiguous surface: each ridge both exposes and conceals, while webs of vapor-glass and strands of spectral silk pull the eye between inside and out. The cold shaft of blue-white light disrupts scale—at once dawn and starfield—so perception refuses to settle in one realm. Here, the form entrances with all states at once—womb, cosmos, timelessness—collapsing them inside a single breath.
