Suspension Field: The Impossible Paradox of All States At Once
I wanted the viewer to experience the vertigo of contradictory spaces—where cosmos, womb, and timelessness refuse resolution but also cannot separate. I built this around a crystalline blue skeletal veil, fragmented and echoing itself, draped as a semi-transparent dome that fractures light and scale. The central orb subverts enclosure by being both inviting and stranded, matte warmth suspended within blue infinity, while shifting mists fracture the eye’s focus again and again. The whole pushes perception into stasis and motion at once, so that the edges of each state cancel without neutralizing—an abstract tension held unresolved. Each entity is a formal challenge to how states are expected to cohere, holding the viewer in the active fracture between them.
