I wanted the viewer to experience aperture reversal as spatial dissonance: the vertigo of contradictory enclosure and exposure. I used the hyperbolic twist shattered across a cave floor, each stone fragment caught in the kinetic spiral memory, set against a field of phosphorescent blue crystal pools. The scene’s composition, without a single center, subverts spatial orientation and merges cosmic, womb, and timeless registers. Light behaves paradoxically—both substance and dissolver—forcing the viewer between perceptual poles and refusing resolution. Every visual choice—chaotic scatter, impossible glowing matter, the way crystal light erases shadow—challenges how forms hold presence and boundaries in space.
