I wanted the viewer to experience the centrifugal inversion of enclosure—where dome logic becomes a viral geometric organism, annexing the environment. I used folded hyperbolic contours as tangled, living mesh shells bursting with expanding and contracting pulses, deliberately exposing their creases and fragmentation to fracture the illusion of containment. Dynamic light-scattering gradients erupt along each fold and wire joint, their flickerings modeling a state between emergence and collapse. The dialectic between viral enclosure and exposed desert pushes the dome beyond shelter, making its conquest of space psychophysical: both sanctuary and contagion. This frame captures that mutation at peak volatility, challenging the idea of dome as static peace.
