Viral Spiral: Dynamic Propagation in Frozen Geological Time.
I wanted the viewer to experience dynamic transformation and viral propagation within a moment of suspended geological dance. I used the Spiral Saddle Fold as the dominant force, layering it through a labyrinth of mineral architectures where light acts as contagion, each spiral propagating tension and release. The forms twist against expectation—concavity blooming where convexity fades—while concentrated crystalline light pools and leaps along their surfaces, shifting foreground to background in a hypnotic interchange. The entire cavern becomes a single, infinite geometry of infectious, kinetic equilibrium—an experiment of Cosmos.
Every visual decision animates the geometry as viral force: twisting forms, slick mineral surfaces, paradoxical materials—each contributes to the state of endless transformation, born in the cold, viral heart of the earth.
