Transposed Hyperbolic Saddle Beneath the Glacier’s Eye. I wanted the viewer to experience a polar shift aperture—an exquisite reorientation where boundaries no longer hold. I used the transposed hyperbolic saddle as a dimensional shift, thrusting its diagonal tensions across an icy cavern, so that convexities collapse inward and voids bulge outward, undermining any stable sense of interior or exterior. Sharp, faceted surfaces merge with liquid reflections and crystalline light to stage the paradox: a space both infinitely cold and infinitely enclosing, cosmic and womb-like, timeless within movement. Here, resolution emerges only from tension—the impossible coexistence of cosmos, refuge, and perpetual transition. This frame captures the Cosmos state.
